Rise in Burglaries and Car Prowl Incidents Last Weekend

Douglas County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated a rash of burglaries and car prowls over the past weekend.

1. 600 Blk. of Daniels Drive-On 05/13/16 suspects entered a vehicle and stole a passport.  There was no sign of forced entry.
2. 600 Blk. of Daniels Drive-On 05/13/16 unknown persons entered the living room of a residence through an unlocked door and stole a television.
3. 600 Blk. of s. Lincoln Place-On 05/14/16 unknown persons entered two vehicles.  A CB radio was taken from one of the vehicles.  They were not locked.
4. 125 Linden Lane-On 05/14/16 unknown persons entered a pickup and stole a pistol, softball equipment, and cash.
5. 600 Blk. of S. Lincoln Place-On 05/14/16 unknown persons entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet and cash.
6. 3100 Blk. of Vine Street NE-On 05/15/16 unknown persons entered and unlocked outbuilding and I pad, a Bluetooth speaker, liquor.
