Sheriff Brian Burnett reports on 2/9/16 the Columbia River Drug Task Force and the Wenatchee ProAct unit conducted a joint investigation for drug distribution in the Wenatchee Valley.
With the help of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Wenatchee Police Department, a search warrant was served on a 5th wheel trailer on Vine Street in Douglas County, WA. Over 6 ounces of heroin and over 2 ounces of methamphetamine was located and seized in the 5th wheel trailer.
The heroin has an estimated street value of $26,850 and the methamphetamine has an estimated street value of over $4000. Close to $7000 in cash was seized as well.
Richard J. Hancock, resident of the 5th wheel trailer, was arrested for unlawful possession heroin with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.
