Manson lost to Pateros last night 61-20. Nanny forward Chancy Gill had her way with us, scoring 30 points on a series of fast break layins, offensive putbacks, and pick and roll baskets. She was complimented on the outside by their guards who combined to hit 5 3 pointers. The outcome was never really in doubt, as Pateros played stifiling defense that allowed only 5 first half points.
Manson was led by the 7 points of Jaque Guillen and 5 points from Itzel Castro. We struggled the whole game to find any offensive momentum.
Our next game is on Thursday, at home against the powerful Lake Roosevelt Raiders, who handily beat us in our first matchup.
