Students in the Manson School District are busily engaged in many after school activities. Both academic and enrichment activities are offered in the Afters program. Afters is free of charge to participants, a snack is served, and transportation in provided for all Afters activities.
Target Afters
Manson’s Target Afters is designed to assist students that are struggling in reading or math. Students in 1st-8th grade are referred by teachers, parents, or examining their test scores.
Afters Enrichment
This year, students have participated in many fun activities. Students can sign up for classes such as Basketball, School News, Girls On The Run, Cupcake Decorating, Crafts, Jr. Rangers, Zumba and Chess.
Between these two programs, we have approximately 100 students that stay each night for Afters. At the middle school, students are assisted with their homework four days per week.
These programs combine some of the best methods used by administrators, teachers and instructors to help students with academic success. Personal attention, extra support from a teacher and creative activities, help students find the hero within.
