Who needs this class? If you are a boater, then probably YOU!
WA State has enacted a law that requires boaters born after January 1, 1955 to obtain a Boater Education Card. The law went into effect January 1, 2008, and the first phase required those 12-20 to obtain their cards.
The 2012 requirement is for those 40 and younger. The phase-in will continue through 2014 and on January 1, 2015 ALL BOATERS born after January 1, 1955 will be required to have their Boater Safety card.
This class is open to all boaters, regardless of age, and there is no charge.
