E-mail Print PDF

Lake Chelan Rotary has for many years awarded scholarships to graduating seniors from Manson and Chelan High Schools. This year, because of an excellent fund raising year due to the generosity of the members of the community, a record $17,000 in scholarships have been awarded to thirteen students. This year, because of the major events of the Summer Salmon Barbecue, the Century Challenge and Cycle de Vine bike rides, and the Rotary Radio Day, the club has been able to increase the number of scholarships and the amounts awarded. In addition each recipient has been informed that the scholarships are eligible for renewal upon application following a successful Freshman year.
