It turns out that the trees have already had a minor prune and they are not healthy enough for a major pruning.
Manson Business Association (MBA) - In a first show of work as a result of the recent Manson Community meetings, the Manson Kiwanis is leading the way with a tree pruning work party.
It will take place this coming Saturday, 2/28, from 9am until noon. Kiwanis arborists will do the cutting to promote healthy growth and aesthetic beauty along Wapato Way in downtown Manson.
Volunteers are needed! People with trucks for hauling and people to pick up debris and fill those trucks are all needed. Please bring gloves, rakes and large loppers to cut branches on the ground if available.
A dumpsite is available and no experience is necessary. Please meet at the Manson Grange at 9am and get ready to say YOU helped start the ball rolling!
