Chelan County Sheriff(CCSD) - Sheriff Harum reports at 1623 hours on August 21, 2008 RiverCom Communication Center received a 911 telephone call from John Minardi (52) at 7440 Brender Canyon Road Cashmere, WA reporting his wife and daughter were deceased from gunshot wounds.

Kathy D. Minardi (59) and Danielle N. Minardi (21) were pronounced dead at the scene by Chelan County Coroner Wayne Harris.

A search warrant was applied for and granted by the Chelan County Superior Court and the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division, along with the Washington State Patrol Forensic Lab Team will be conducting a thorough investigation in to the cause of this incident.

The Sheriff’s Office is currently not looking for additional suspects and at this point in the investigation believes this was an isolated incident within said property.
