Two Unrelated Vehicle Rollovers |

Chelan County Sheriff(CCSD) - Two unrelated vehicle rollovers that occurred on Sunday within less than one hour of each other, were reported by the Sheriff's Department this morning.
Accident #1
Sheriff Mike Harum
reports at 1240 hours, deputies responded to a one vehicle roll-over with
occupants trapped inside the passenger compartment off Washington Creek Road
near the Ice Caves Pond, north of Chelan.
Upon arrival, Chelan Fire District 7, Chelan EMS and deputies assisted
with the exercitation of the passengers.
Minor injuries were sustained and the driver, Roberto Chavez 40 yoa from
Reedley, CA was arrested for driving with a suspended license. The cause is under investigation; however
speed was a factor in the crash of a Ford Taurus Station wagon.
Accident #2
Injury Accident:
Sheriff Harum reports
at 1330 hours, deputies responded to a one vehicle injury accident near MP 7.5
on the Lake Wenatchee Highway. The USFS
dispatch radio center, CWICC, advised a station wagon was in the ditch and an
USFS employee on site was requesting EMS.
A lone female driver, Lee Ann Peterson 55 yoa from Chelan, WA sustained
minor injuries to her head and arm.
Peterson was transported to CWH for her injuries. Speed appears to be a factor and the
accident is under investigation.
