The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce
will hold the 20th Annual Lake Chelan Riverwalk Fine Arts Festival
August 18 & 19. Saturday, August 18,
10am-6pm, Sunday, August 19, 10am-4pm.
Riverwalk Fine Arts Show is designed to showcase the beauty of fine art
within the natural aesthetics of Lake Chelan’s Riverwalk Park.
Riverwalk Park is a beautiful area with trees, lawns, benches
and walkways along the bank of the Chelan River at the edge of downtown Chelan. Featuring Northwest Artist such as;
watercolors by Sharon Carr, paintings & prints by Diane Paton-Peel, step
back in time with Julie Peterson, watercolors and silk-screening by Renee Healy,
pottery and silk-screening by Misi Lenci, photographs by Ned Fox, paintings by
Felix Espinoza, and hand carved custom furniture by Dan Donley. This year the Riverwalk Fine Arts committee
has chosen a painting by Diane Paton-Peel to be our 2007 Limited Edition
Poster. Copies of this poster will be
available for purchase at the Riverwalk Fine Arts Festival for the price
$30.
Also on Saturday from 4-8pm support
Rotary’s youth program through the purchase of the best BBQ Salmon dinner which
includes; with cole slaw, corn on the cob, baked beans, roll, & soda all for
$15.00 per person. A wine & beer
garden will be available this year.
St. Andrews Episcopal Church Annual Pie
Social will be held on Saturday from noon -8pm.
$2.50 per slice with ice cream .50 extra. Ice tea and lemonade will be available.
What a great day to bring the entire
family out for a fun filled day at Riverwalk Park in downtown Lake
Chelan. Admission and
Parking is free.
