Who is this Apple Blossom Queen from 1948?

Manson- The Manson Apple Blossom Parade starts tomorrow morning, May 13th, at 10 AM.  This is the 86th apple blossom festival and this year's theme is "Passage to the Orient".

You can start your day at the Kiwanis Breakfast held in the basement of the Manson Grange Hall.  They will be serving pancakes, eggs, bacon, coffee and juice from 6-9 AM.  Adults $6 - Children $3.

The Pig Jig  2006 Fun Run starts at 8:30 in front of the Lake Chelan Business Center in downtown Manson.  Sign-up starts at 7:00.  There will be 2K and 5K races.

There will be plenty to do downtown during the weekend.  The Lake Chelan Rock and Mineral Club will be there with beads, gems, jewelry and other items for sale and raffle!

The Community Art Show will be running from Friday to Sunday along with a Student Art Show.

A street fair will be running Saturday and Sunday with a variety of vendors including food, beverages, handicrafts and even a petting zoo!
