Commissioner JC Baldwin requested board consideration of some form of Port presence and limited financial support for the 2010 Chelan County Fair. Port Executive Director Mark Urdahl will contact Fair Director Marsha Clute to explore such opportunities.

Memorandum of Understanding: Pybus Property, Wenatchee

Port staff described the need for a Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Wenatchee that would serve as the framework for a lease with the City to develop and operate the proposed Pybus Public Market on the site of the former Morse Steel building. This lease would be need to be approved by both the Port Commission and Wenatchee City Council before the Port would acquire the property. No formal specific action was taken by the Commission.
