Minutes from the Manson Parks Board meeting on April 18, 2006:

• John Peters nominated himself to be chairperson.  Motion did not pass.
• Stacy Byquist presented a proposal for use of Manson Bay area for jet ski rentals.  An agreement was reached, with a contract to be written and signed by the Board.
• Virginia Beresford is working on a water fountain project for the Manson Bay Park in memory of Leo England.
• A Capital Improvement Plan was approved for the year 2006.
• The Board approved the proposal to run a regular Maintenance & Operation levy in September of 2006 for the years 2007 and 2008.
• There was discussion about the Lake Chelan Boat Club lease.

The next Manson Community Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m. in the Ray Bumgarner Building.
