The Chelan County Public Utilities District has contracted Inland Industrial & Rigging to build a new 8ft. tall seawall near Manson Bay Park where the old PUD 'white house' was located. The house was tore down to make way for a new building because upgrading costs were too high for the existing structure.
The project is scheduled to be completed by May 1st. Superintendent Robert Barnett of Inland Industrial & Rigging said the wall will protect the steep embankment from further erosion.
