Local Woman Becomes Trustee of Iowa Pharmacy Association

MVT - Katherine A. Linder, RPh, of
Manson, was recently installed as a Trustee on the Iowa Pharmacy Association
(IPA) Board of Trustees at the 2009 Annual Meeting. The installation of new
officers occurred during IPA's Annual Banquet on Saturday, June 20, at the Marriott
Cedar Rapids. Linder will serve on the
Board for two years.
Linder
graduated from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. She began her career at the University of Iowa
Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, working both in the inpatient and
outpatient pharmacies. She was also
employed as a research scientist for Warner Lambert Pharmaceuticals. Linder served on the Iowa Board of Pharmacy
from 1997 through 2006, serving as Chairman of the Board from 2004-2006. Linder
currently works both at Medicap Pharmacy in Manson and the Rockwell City
Community Pharmacy in Rockwell City serving as a community pharmacist.

of the Iowa Pharmacy Association. "Because of her strong leadership, we will be
able to make a difference in the lives of the patients we serve and to the
profession of pharmacy in Iowa."
The Iowa Pharmacy
Association is the state society representing the profession of pharmacy,
united for the purpose of advancing public health, particularly the
pharmaceutical care of all Iowans. The
Iowa Pharmacy Association is organized to preserve and advance the interests of
the profession and to serve the professional needs of all pharmacists, pharmacy
students, and pharmacy technicians with more than 1200 members statewide.
