Chelan,WA(MVT) - The Chelan Valley Republican Women will feature two prominent speakers, Senator Linda Evans Parlette and Dr. Mathew Manweller at Tsillan Cellars Winery on June 11, 2008.  The lunch will take place from 11:30 to 1:00pm and the cost is $12.

The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce welcomes Kris Pomianek, Recreation Resources Administrator of Chelan County PUD at the Chamber’s monthly luncheon on June 9. She will discuss current and upcoming PUD plans in the Valley. Kris will provide information regarding the Lake Chelan lake level, trail developments in the Chelan Gorge, whitewater boating in 2009, and the temporary closure of Powerhouse Park in Chelan Falls. Chelan,WA(MVT) - Driver licenses and classic car knowledge are not required to enjoy CruiZin Chelan. This classic car show, held June 6-7, is designed to provide a weekend of entertainment for the whole family. The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce presents this annual two-day event in partnership with sponsors SunnyFM and GoLakeChelan.com.

Port of Chelan County(POCC) - The Board of Commissioners of the Port of Chelan County will meet in regular session at 8:30 am on Wednesday, May 28th 2008, in the Port conference room located at 238 Olds Station Rd, Suite A, Wenatchee, Washington. 

A portion of the Commissioners’ regularly scheduled meeting will include a joint session with Port of Douglas County Commissioners to discuss and take possible action on issues of mutual concern.
