Chelan County Sheriff (CCSD) - Sheriff Harum and the local FBI Office reports William A. Chapman (8-13-57) Rockport, WA resident has been identified as the individual responsible for committing the Cashmere Valley Bank (CVB) robbery in Leavenworth, WA on October 8, 2008.

Manson, WA (MVT) - A big thank you to all of the MVT readers.  We have had over a quarter of a million visitors to the site since the inception in February 2006.  The site has received many positive emails for the ease of navigation and overall useability.

MVT was created as a community news source for the Manson area.  The concept is based mostly on article contributions from Manson residents although much of the recent content has come from official sources such as the Chelan County Sheriff's Department and the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce.

I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate that you can contribute stories to MVT by becoming a member or just by sending your article in an email to .  It is highly probable that your story will be published.

Port of Chelan County (POCC) - The Board of Commisioners of the Port of Chelan County will meet in a joint session with the Port of Douglas County Board of Commissioners at 8:30am on Wednesday, October 22, 2008.

The joint commision session will take place in the conference room at the Port of Chelan County at 238 Olds Station Rd. Ste A, Wenatchee, WA.
