Echo Valley is OPEN! More in this report from Echo Valley:
Here we go!! It's SNOW TIME!
Along with the tubing hill, 2 rope tows will run Saturday and Sunday! The face & ridge of the poma have been packed, but need a bit more snow to operate. Hopefully, another pass with the groomer/tiller will do it by Sunday. We’ll keep ya posted.
Great day on the tubing hill today! Thanks everyone for supporting Echo Valley. We expect the next 2 days to be very busy. If anyone wants to teach or help out in other ways, please come on up. For all work-hour season pass holders, this is a great time to get those hours done and get some fresh air! Start your year off right.....exercise, pay off a debt (work hours) and enjoy time with your family & friends.
There will also be a short instructors clinic first thing on Saturday morning. Want to teach??? See Keith!

Manson School District - Coach Crollard reports ...
This was a great game for the Varsity Trojans! They came out of the game right from the start and played hard all 32 minutes. Last year we had problems keeping our intensity for the whole game, but so far this season the guys have really worked at playing every minute as hard as they can. To play against talented players and college kids who are bigger and stronger, and hold our own against them I was very pleased.

Manson Business Association - A message from MBA President Kim Ustanik:
I am very pleased to announce a new Manson business has been born: The Lake Chelan Valley Cheese Company has just been issued a license. This new company will be publicly called Fromaggio on the Bay.
The production and retail end of the business will be located at which was formerly known as the LJ’s Building, corner of Wapato Way and Green Ave. There will also be a dairy, location still to be determined. Creator, Timi Starkweather, anticipates the official opening to be Apple Blossom 2010, but is planning to participate as a “warming hut” for the 2010 WinterFest celebration.
The Lake Chelan Valley Cheese Co. will be working closely with the Manson School District and their FFA/FBL programs with high hopes for great vocational benefits to Manson students.
Congratulations Fromaggio on the Bay, and welcome to Manson!
Also… get ready for WinterFest! Manson businesses and community plan to take an exciting role this year!
